  • This monument is located in the public square of downtown Cleveland. The monument has amazing architectural details including stained glass, stone masonry, and sculptures. The interior houses interesting artifacts and history of Ohio and the Civil War. This is a hidden jewel in plain sight. Take 30 minutes to check it out. Well worth the time.
  • Nice place to visit to familiarize with American history. Very touching. Building closes at 5. Free to visit.
  • Should be a stop for everyone to remember those that helped create the greatest country in the world, and fought for equality for all people!
  • This is such a beautiful monument on the SE corner of Public Square ... Free to enter and you will leave full of history and glad you made the visit. Once a year they have tours beneath the monument, also full of history, interesting facts about the structure, how it was built and the resident ghosts!
  • Have been here numerous times with family members and is a really good location and museum to see. I am also glad that they cleaned up the graffiti that protesters left the last few times I have been here. Be sure to take family and friends here at least one- it is worth the time!
