The George H.W. Bush Presidential museum was a nice diversion to our visit in San Antonio. The museum was not overly crowded during our visit. All staff encountered were friendly, overly accommodating and informative. There were a number of newly added exhibits, so the museum is being well maintained. There are changes due to COVID-19, wearing a mask is required while indoors. The outdoor grounds are exceptional and well maintained and manicured. During our visit we spent around 3 hours inside the museum and touring the grounds. Our visit to the museum was well worth the time. It was great to relive some history and learn a few new things. Hope you enjoy your visit as much as we did.😊

I think I've tried to visit about five times and I finally got in! Various closings and me not looking at their hours conspired against me. But on this beautiful spring day, I was able to visit. The inside and the outside gardens are fantastic. I think the gardens are now one of my favorites in Texas. The place is full of memorabilia and lays it out in a very interesting way. Often I go to a museum or other place and wonder why I felt like I could do better just looking at things online. In this case, it was much deeper, richer and more meaningful than most on-line, museums by prose that I have been to. I think I got a better understanding of George W and Barbara Bush and enjoyed the visit. Whether you are a rabid Bush fan or merely a passing history buff, this is definitely going to have something for you.

Beautiful museum filled with an overwhelming number of artifacts and information. My group spent 3+ hours here but it would take weeks to go through and read every individual item. Truly eye opening experience to see someone’s entire life/legacy in one building. All employees were friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to give mini tours to explain certain exhibit areas. George H.W. Bush and Barbara Bush accomplished so much more than you may think. Despite being a college student and many people my age don’t find these types of things that interesting, I found it fascinating with how in-depth everything was displayed.

Great place to reminisce about the accomplishments and history of President George Bush Senior. The landscaping here is so gorgeous. We also enjoyed the Barbara Rose Garden and Reflection Pond in the back. The museum itself requires tickets purchased online in advance, and no, you cannot just show up and buy tickets at the gate! You can also sit in the Oval Office chair and experience what it feels like to be President for one minute!

Fine tribute to our former President. Extensive memorabilia and history provided so you can appreciate the man and his life. Lots of parking available, easy access for mobility challenged. The facility has an informative movie as an introduction and then many exhibits on his legacy. Pleasant gift shop is available. Outdoor park area has impressive sculptures and grounds.
