Absolutely beautiful when we went (Oct fall break). We stayed at camp site 47. Surrounded by trees and doe's. The fall colors were coming out and the weather was around 60 making for a wonderful fall camping trip. Had fun on the disc golf course. There may be 9 holes? We did 5 and couldn't find the next one. Perhaps across the street? The bathrooms were nice. Don't let the step count from the site to the bathroom scare you. it's not that bad. There are also maybe 12? steps up to the camp site.

Stayed here for 3 nights while vacationing in Colorado Springs and loved it! Nice large sites with concrete pads and great views, we stayed in spot 14. We loved the full hookups and how well manicured and clean everything was. Trails were great! I would absolutely stay here again and recommend to anyone needing a campground in the area. I am so glad I found this piece of paradise for our trip!

Love this place! We are staying in Camping Cabin B. Very clean and comfortable. Double queen bunk beds, pull out sofa bed. AC too! Noticed the campsites are nicely spaced apart. Enjoyed the hiking trails too! Definitely coming back!

Took Talon to North Talon to Dixon to Mountain Loop. (Terrain changes very quickly once towards the end of Dixon watch for signs!!) Amazing hike and day for it 61 in January. Met some nice people on the way. If you're not sure what to do, ask the staff they give great recommendations. Some snow and ice was still around, but just use shoe spikes and your golden.

This campground exceeded my expectations with its level, paved pad and nice picnic table & fire pit. Colorado State Parks have not disappointed! The views were second to none! They even have laundry facilities within the bathroom and shower building, though we didn’t use them.
