Memorial Park, Colorado Springs

It’s truly beautiful and so much to do in one park. Lake Prospect is located within the park. You can kayak, paddle board, swim, sit in the sand with your toes in the water. Or picnic at one of the many tables and play at the playgrounds. There is a walking path around the lake that’s about one mile around. For a bonus, there’s another playground across the lake. The war memorial was added in the past couple years and it is amazing and worth checking out. Got to love the vibes here. You’ve got the clock tower chiming every 15-30 minutes. The breeze off the lake cools you right off even on a hot day. It’s a large area with tons of green space easy for spreading out and holding events. This place is fabulous!

Nice and well upkeep Park. Everybody seen friendly. Fishing and swimming area. Lots of people paddle boating. Beautiful scenery as the Cheyenne mountains is in the background. Needs more restroom.

Great large park with a variety of activity options. I mainly go for the 6 sand volleyball courts. Currently only 2 of 6 courts have a net but my friends and I have 3 of our own so we're always able to get a couple courts.

Always a fun time at this place. Beautiful views and breathtaking scenery. Great place for the family.

First time there was Sat. 8/27/22 and I attended the Lantern Festival. What a joyful experience. Family oriented. I ❤️ Colorado Springs!!!!
