  • Excellent museum with a lot of information. You could spend an entire afternoon here. I would highly recommend taking the tour so that you can see the airplane repair area.

  • Moving collection of beautifully restored Planes along with individual stories and pictures of our American Heroes. The Planes are all able to fly and do fly in the local Air Show that takes place...

  • This is a must-see stop if you are a museum or history lover… or, even if you are not! The collection of aircraft here is amazing. Equally amazing is that almost all of them are in flying condition and the few that are not are in restoration to be able to fly. Make sure you allocate enough time to make your way through the exhibits. I highly recommend taking the guided tour. It takes about 2 hours and is well worth it. Our docent was very knowledgeable. He spoke to the group at a level that was understandable for the beginner aviation enthusiast and could quickly answer questions posed by the more experienced in our tour group. The displays are nicely arranged. You can get up close and personal with the aircraft and learn details with the accompanying graphics and memorabilia on display. WestPac Restorations is included in the tour so you have a chance to see all the work that goes into restoring these planes.
  • We had such a great time on what is sure to be the first of many visits! It was an incredibly well put together museum, the displays were top-notch and filled with information and pieces of history! The tour was worth the extra $5.00. It was a great way to get perspective and be able to ask questions. Not only did we learn about the aircraft, but about the painstaking details that go into restoring them. Definitely worth the time and money!
  • This place is very unique. It is the only museum of its type where everything isn't roped off. You can walk right up and touch the aircraft. You can stand under them. You can stand beside them. The staff are all very passionate, knowledgeable and experienced. Our tour guide had served in the military using some of the aircraft he was showing. This was awesome for me. It was a great glimpse at our country's history, and the history of our great military. We went on a couple of tours that day and didn't have enough time to spend at this one. I recommend 2 hours at very least. Three would be better. I will be back. I will spend much more time at this museum looking at the sites and listening to the stories of the soldiers turned tour guides.
  • This gorgeous museum is full of functioning aircraft and fantastic information. I have been able to work with the staff on some video pieces for my work, and for my personal channels, and have had a great time getting to know them and their museum. I highly recommend this place for any fan of aviation or history. You will not be disappointed, and could probably go a few times before seeing and reading everything available to you.
  • A "Must See"! Best guided tour Ive ever been on! I took the guided tour and was not disappointed! Walt was the best! he knew so much about every exhibit piece, and there are several veterans out there that also volunteer their time to answer questions (All polite, informative, and friendly). There are hundreds of volunteers that spend a few hours a month contributing to the restoration/preservation of these planes! EVERY PLANE in that museum 1. has been immaculately restored and 2. is flight capable!
