Old Stage Riding Stables, Colorado Springs

Probably the best people in all of Colorado. Due to not having the proper tires (even though it was all-wheel drive) to make it up the mountain safely, our SUV got stuck on a turn that was very icy and we were unable to continue up the hill. I stayed with the vehicle while my family rode with friends to the stables. Laura, the owner, came down and picked me up in her Jeep. My family had a wonderful time on their horseback ride with truly wonderful people on staff,. Amazing views!!! The stable owner even outfitted my vehicle with snow chains after the ride so that we could make it back to town safely. They all went out of their way to ensure we had a good time and could safely return to our hotel. We'll be coming back again. One of the best parts of our trip was meeting these amazing people. Thank you again!!!

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time here! The trail was beautiful and the horses were amazing. 10/10 would recommend and go again. (But in a truck) . Our guide was amazing and made the whole experience even more worthwhile.

The road to this place is a little intimidating but I promise it worth it! We took a 90 minute ride and our guide (Dori ?) was great too. The views were beautiful and the horse were very gentle and it was a overall great time.

Really enjoyed our ride! The guide was full of interesting tid bits about the ranch and surrounding area. I was expecting to be part of a large group since the pricing was so reasonable, but we had a private trail ride! It's absolutely beautiful. Don't worry about the drive up. It does take 30 mins but it's not a crazy or scary dirt road. I wouldn't be driving it after a heavy rain though:)

The 1-hour trail ride had beautiful views and Annalise was a fun and friendly guide! The drive up the mountain was not as tough as we thought it'd be; our sedan did just fine. Definitely worth the drive to this business where the tour groups are small and the horses are obviously healthy and happy.
