What an amazing find. Another piece in the history of Colorado Springs and Pike’s Peak. Whole family enjoyed it and discovered the generosity of the Penrose family towards the region.

Still the one and only Museum that has it all !! Old west artifacts like no other, carriages that are among the best in the world ! RACE CARS tributes to drivers. Historic automobile displays, narratives and motion videos with excellent viewing for all ages ! Highly recommend Parking is validated by a sticker on your receipt, pick one up in the museum when you walk in Use the right hand down ramp by the entrance and take elevator on west wall

This was a very neat little museum, we spend about an hour looking around and reading all the information that was on the signs. I can say I know if we had brought our kids with us we probably would have only spent about 15 mins in here. but since it was just me and my husband we really enjoyed it.

Small but excellently curated museum dedicated to the Pike's Peak race, as well as some history of of Spencer Penrose. This is attached to the Broadmoor hotel, but free to enter. Amended as per reply.

Great museum featuring historic horse drawn carriages and vehicles from the Pike’s Peak Hill climb. Lots of interesting information on the history of the area and personalities associated with it and the mountain. There is a parking garage right next to the museum with paid parking and the museum offers stickers to place on the parking ticket good for a limited amount of free parking. Unfortunately our sticker didn’t work and we paid six dollars for the short time we were parked in the garage. There are several electric vehicle chargers in the garage right next to the valet office and only two of the chargers were occupied when we arrived. The elevator is right near the valet office and takes you up to the street level. We had to walk outside of that building across the parking garage ramp and then into the front entrance of the museum.
