Wonderful tour!!! My daughter and I went for her birthday so informative and fun. The owners are the tour guides and take such good care of these amazing animals. You can tell their passion for the reason for their preserve. I highly recommend it. Please do rare or choose to sponsor a Wolfe if you can too and help them continue to keep this beautiful species with us !!!

The owners' love and respect for animals was so inspiring. I could listen to them (Becky and Jim) teach us about wolves, lynxes, bobcats, and foxes all day long! They are both incredibly entertaining, kind, and knowledgeable. The 15 minute hike up is doable but it is uphill and some may find the shuttle option preferable. Travel tip - the campground restrooms by the parking lot are very clean!

My pictures don't do these gorgeous animals justice! I strongly encourage you to visit Lakota Wolf Preserve. Jim and Becky are fantastic. I was enthralled by their knowledge and passion. The animals clearly respect and trust their humans! Highly recommended!

I've been to the Lakota Wolf Preserve twice now. I did the very crowded bus tour on the weekend and after that visit I scheduled a private photography tour. The couple running the preserve is very nice and incredibly knowledgeable about their wolves. They've done an amazing job at providing the wolves with a properly sized natural environment and by making sure that the wolves in each of the quadrants are compatible with each other. I loved both of my opportunities. However, the private photography tour was an amazing experience as it was just myself and one of the owners with all the wolves. It was so awesome that I will likely plan another private visit sometime in the future.

Finally made it here and was not disappointed! The owners are also the tour guides and their devotion and passion is obvious. The whole experience is run like a well oiled machine and we learned whenever we were not staring at the majestic animals. This is not a petting zoo and the price is well worth the experience!
