  • The creek, rocks, etc. were so much fun to play in. We had a puppy with us and it was a great first interaction with water. Fun for all ages. So many picnic areas available and overall just a fun...

  • Went here on a whim to just get out side. It was totally worth it. Water was cold but it was refreshing. My 15yo loved sliding down the rocks. Just be careful the rocks are very slippery, but that...

  • Nice park. The disc golf course was longer than expected. 11 was hard to find, it was across a street and up a hill from 10. I did also get a face full of spiderweb but it's Georgia. Highly recommend going here for whatever. Lots of space to just hangout. There was a string of picnic tables like 8 strong.
  • We really enjoyed ourselves here. Beautiful waterfall. Nice picnic areas and Dog friendly. Great place for pics. We were able to find a shaded area to put the hammock up close to the water and just relaxed.
  • Very clean facilities and grounds well kept. Great place for meeting friends and family. Bike trails.. fishing lake..disc golf course.. plenty of grilling huts and open grills.. Very popular with the RC crawling community!! The restroom could use a little updating but they're still not bad. Overall I'm going to give it 5 stars!!! Also very amazing place to take photos.
  • Our family enjoys flat rock! It's dirty sometimes but that's what happens when uncaring and rude people visit a park. Its them to blame, not the actual place. It's large and has so much to do. My kids love the water! I've had a few scary encounters with other people not watching their kids and their kids getting hurt/most drowning! It's Def a place where you need to have EYES ON YOUR KIDS ... hard for some people apparently.
  • Flat Rock Park, my favorite Park in the city. I recommend going before it gets dark, for extra safety. Not to mention the park closes at sundown. There is at least one police officer that comes and drives through the park and pushes everybody towards the exit. You can fish here. One of the most popular attractions now is the Disc Golf course(s) weaved throughout the part. It is on my to-do list, of things to try. I've seen people have baby showers, weddings, picnics & cookouts, family photo shoots, and glamour shots, and even family reunions. You can bring your dogs (with a leash) to the park. There are multiple playgrounds for the children. Come check it out. There are bathrooms and trash cans on site and the bathrooms do have toilet paper and are clean typically which is surprisingly awesome. There are some grilling areas/picnic tables. ( I'd probably bring my own stuff though. I don't personally know if there are specific rules) there are a few buildings on site that you can look into renting out for an occasion also. I do wish the city would work on tree removal at this park. I use to work in trees. There is a lot that could be done that would keep the park beautiful and safe. The park is a free way to have some fun, so please respect it when you come visit. Hope to see some new faces.
