Built in 1895, Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens features exotic plants, exhibitions, and work by renowned glass artist Dale Chihuly. The conservatory houses more than 400 species of plants grouped by biome, such as Himalayan Mountains, Tropical Rainforest, Desert, Succulent Patio, and Bonsai Courtyard. The Palm House features 43 species of palm trees from around the world, many of which are either endangered or threatened. Great for all ages! The fall/ pumpkin display is fabulous! The color throughout the gardens is amazing. The fall colors are brilliant and the pumpkin's add the perfect touch as they are tucked into displays everywhere! Truly a beautiful walk in the middle of the day. There is handicap parking and the gardens are handicap accessible.

We had some time to burn before an event so we decided to check out this place. I did not expect to stay there for an hour and a half! There were so many gorgeous plants/trees. My favorite things were the bonsai trees and the railway outside with various carved wooden houses. Each area had a theme like animal, fairy tale, European, and wild west and the craftsmanship was phenomenal. The glass work throughout was a nice added touch as well.

This conservatory is truly amazing. Whether you are coming to see the flowers, to entertain your children in the kid area, or just want to see the butterflies, this place has much to offer for everybody. The Halloween event is especially nice. I recommend becoming a member. I can promise you that you won’t regret buying a membership. In summary, the conservatory is an amazing place, with something for everyone.

Really enjoyed our time here. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Lots of heated indoor space to wander and admire the plants. Restaurant on site with a cute gift shop They reciprocate membership and some perks of your home botanical garden. Recommend

Nice gardens with lots of activities for kids. Very clean and well maintained. I did think admission was a little too pricey, but not enough to be mad about it. More water fountains would have been nice. My kids loved the playhouse in the children’s garden.
