  • Really nice walk; lots of birds; leaves were changing colors and it was beautiful; saw a family of geese!

  • Beautiful spot for a nature walk. I also highly recommend crossing the road after the boardwalk on the red maple trail to the adjacent Sudbury land trust property. Lots of lush ferns.
  • What a wonderful spot to reconnect with nature. We walked during fall post leaf plunge and can't wait to see the wildlife and birds in the spring. Easy trails and boardwalk...ample parking. Would be an AMAZING spot for star gazing....
  • I enjoyed walking around Great Meadows National Wildlife Refuge. There isn't a lot of trails here but the boardwalks are nice and I was able to see a few different kinds of birds while exploring.
  • Beautiful Fall walk. Total peace. It's a fantastic place.
  • I did the Red Maple trail. A short easy walk around a pond with an observation platform off to the side. A pleasant time seeing a marsh full of chickadees, a tree with 5 trunks, 3 tiny turtles and more trails yet to explore. Lots of signs that say no pets - so as not to disturb the animals in the refuge.
