  • This was a very interesting museum. It's important to call ahead and set a time to do the tour. You really understand the difference in how well we treated the POW's and how our people were treated...

  • This is a fantastic place to tour for anyone who is interested in World War II, military history, or unique stories from the homefront, during the mid-1940's. The POW Camp Concordia Museum is host...

  • Just off Route 81 near Concordia, find the remnants of a Nazi POW camp from WWII. There's a museum that is sometimes open, or just park and see the guard tower that's still standing by the road...

  • We pulled in at 2:00pm right as the tour was about to begin. I’m SO glad we went here because it’s an important piece to the history of Concordia and Cloud County and our tour guide was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and friendly. It’s SO interesting learning about the slavery in WWII. There also an area to purchase things that you’d find at the Cloud County Tourism office (as long as you pay in cash).
  • Great history we didn't have a chance to go inside museum it's close and the sign says you need to make appointment to tour. The tower is nice you can imagine back in that days the guys are in that tower guarding.
  • Small but well maintained museum. Interesting history and easy location to find. Worth a hour if travel through Concordia KS.
  • I should have done more research. Drove a couple hours and didn't realize it was scheduled tours only. I wondered why there weren't any hours listed when I Googled it! Totally my fault, I just kinda got in the car and went for it! It was nice to stand by the guard tower in the openess and imagine what it was. Thank you for preserving this important part of history!
  • Museum is only open Monday through Friday, so we were only able to visit the guard Tower and some photos on display. Easy to get to.
