  • Beautiful park where sea lions love to live on the rocks near by with whales swimming by! We just drove around and hopped out at all the points. The Oregon coast is the best!

  • Spectacular piece of the Oregon rugged coast, with many spots to take pictures. The park is very green, which makes a beautiful contrast with the rocks and blue seas. The park has many picnic tables.....  more

  • Beautiful views along the way to the end of Cape Arago Hwy! There are a lot of viewpoints and even a cute little spot for a picnic. Even a bench to sit and read a book while overlooking the ocean. At low tide, there is a (steep) path that takes you down to the beach and to the tide pools. At one of the viewpoints, you can hear the sea lions! There are lots of hikers and families along this route, so definitely go the speed limit and mind your steps along the cliffs!
  • One of the most beautiful hikes I've been on. Gorgeous views and we saw seals and sea lions. Bring the family, binoculars, sunglasses, a hat, a good camera and a jacket cuz it's windy.
  • One word: “Beautiful”! I was only able to see the very end, Cape Arago portion of the park. I hiked down to the ocean’s edge. Not advisable as there is a lot of loose gravel. Easy to slip and fall into rough waves and rocks. I did get some nice photos. Also, hundreds of seal lions close by. I enjoyed their barking.
  • Beautiful viewpoint off the sunset bay campgrounds. You can watch the sea lions swimming towards the rocks in the afternoon with the direction of sun change. (You get cell phone reception in this spot)
  • Absolutely beautiful. The guardians are two lovely trees holding up a cliff it's worth the trip just to see them. Saw almost a dozen rainbows. Just an awesome experience all around.
