  • It's always nice to see art as it is what is balancing everyone’s day. The Art Museum has very good selected art pieces and also has 4+ shows every year, that bring in art from the U.S. Since we...

  • The Coos Art Museum is a very nice Museum. The building is clean and well maintained. There are several restrooms in the building. There is a fee but it is very minimal. Most of the artwork is for sale and there are binders showing the prices. The staff is very friendly. I did not see any handicapped parking in front of the building but there is a ramp to the front door and there is an elevator to the second floor. The entrance door does have a button to open the door.. The first floor art rooms are wide open and plenty of open space. The second floor rooms have doors that are not automatic and could be problematic for handicapped visitors. It is a very nice art museum and worth a visit when visiting Coos Bay Oregon.
  • Wonderful museum in a nice small coastal town. Art education classes are amazing! (With the best teachers)
  • Nice small town gallery presenting excellent paintings. One gallery too ESG and mediocre artist. Worth the money and well worth supporting
  • Came to Coos Bay on a Monday to see the Prefontaine sites. Museum was closed but someone let me in the backdoor to see the Prefontaine room. Don't miss it if you are here for him. Lots of memorabilia you can't see anywhere else! Didn't see the rest of the art museum but it seemed nice
  • Great small museum. Don't miss out on the upstairs. If you need it there is an elevator. The staff works hard to give a good viewing experience and is knowledgeable about art. If you get the chance to chat with Kevin he is both personable and knowledgeable. I recommend enjoying their art openings or any events. I went to a talk and it was great! (ok I am partial as the talk was given by my husband)
