  • Very quiet. Only went in Blood Basin Road about 3.5 miles. Was hilly and curvy but well maintained main road. There are some spots for groups. I only saw half a dozen or so spots. Some trash on road but campsites look clean.
  • Beeeeeauuuutiful! Just scratch the surface by making it to the river by following the creek at Badger Springs and found some nice petroglyphs at the confluence.
  • Very cool short hike the river was running VERY fast when we were out there. Cool hike along a wash the entire way. Pick your own path as long as you follow the wash you will make it to the Agua Fria. When you get to the river petroglyphs are on the left side wall.
  • Beautiful National Monument full of historical and archeological significance. We loved hiking along the river in early May to see the greenery and nice water. There are a few nice places to swim depending on the water level, but you'll have to be willing to hike to find them.
  • Some tremendous views from here. Can't get to the top without 4x4 and high clearance. Have fun!
