  • Love the sessions offered. We watched 3 different hot glass demonstrations. We participated in the scavenger hunt for the log cabin but never did find it. Great for kids of all ages! My 17 year old...

  • Just Wow. A must visit place. Wonderful exhibits. They’ve different galleries, a wing alone for the historic exhibits, which were a lot (we weren’t able to see everything). And artistic exhibits are also Amazing. They’ve hot shops showing the glass demonstrations almost every 30 min, throughout the day. Definitely attend one. Don’t miss the innovation floor, it was quite interesting. There’s a beautiful gift shop with so many things and a good cafe, with vegetarian options. And Yes, make your own glass is nothing we can actually make, but only choose what shape and colours you want, and you can have really closer look, which was still nice to experience. It would be good if it’s specified clearly on the website what to expect. Also would love more interactive exhibits. Definitely a great visit.
  • I love visiting this place. The modern art installations are my favorite part of the museum, but the whole thing is really well done with amazing architecture and always something to learn. This time we were able to visit a demonstration in the hot shop, which was really fun. And we also were able to take advantage of making some of our own glass after making a reservation. That was super fun. Looking forward to our next visit!
  • This is a MUST VISIT museum even if don’t like museums or aren’t interested in glass, I’m sure you’ll be fascinated by the beauty of glass, live demonstrations, knowledge and tidbits about glass characteristics and history. Drove over from Ithaca and a Cornell college visit and it’s only about an hour drive away which is well worth the trip. So much to explore and enjoy and the museum shop is massive and fascinating in its own right. Easily spend 2-3 hours here and not have enough time.
  • All I have to say is wow, what an amazing place! Definitely plan on spending 2-4 hours just to see everything. Lots of exhibits, demos and a great learning experience. We spent 4 hours there trying to see everything. It’s not just glasses and plates, it’s optics, windshields, history from the BC/AD and more.
  • Wow!!Wow!! Never thought that the museum would be this exquisitely beautiful and educational for us. An amazing place to visit with family and you will get fascinated by seeing all the beautiful exhibits. The live demos were really interesting! You can make your own glass products by booking early. The gift shop was astonishing and I wanted to buy each and every product from there. The entry ticket is for 2 consecutive days and free for 17 and under. Would love to go back to this museum when I get a chance! Amazing experience!!!
