  • Enjoyed our adventure so much and our guide was so good giving us history and details about the area. Saw 15 horses and the baby foal just a few weeks old.

  • Our guide was very informative about the area's history and eco system. Even though it was rainy and cold I enjoyed the excursion.

  • Lots of fun and the guide (and the community) make sure you see as much as possible. Driving down the beach in the back of a truck is yippee awesome (bring a jacket).

  • Wow!!! What an amazing adventure tour!...Everyone we took the tour with is super kind and friendly a good mix of personalities and ages..The beach is just gorgeous here!...our tour guide Craig was the best...we were so close to the wild Spanish horses it felt like I could reach out and ride on one myself!!...Super informative...My husband's cap blew off and he stopped to retrieve it! Such a great guy! We drove about 30 miles an hour and it was very bumpy and cold but we made sure to dress for cold weather...Some attendees even brought their own blankets so make sure to prepare ahead of time and dress accordingly...Absolutely loved it!!!!
  • Visiting from NY and we booked this as a family last minute. It was an amazing experience and our tour guide was so great. He was knowledgeable and had a great personality and showed us some really cool and interesting things about the area. The views are unbelievable and the horses are gorgeous. I highly recommend this tour !!
  • What an adventure. We had a group of 12 that all fit nicely in the truck for the tour. Craig was our guide and he was fantastic. Before the trip began he gave us an overview of the area, it’s history and what we could expect on the tour. Craig was incredibly knowledgeable and was an awesome guide. We saw a number of horses on the trip and even got to see a two male horses competing for territory. This excursion is a “must-do” while at OBX, if you can get Craig as your guide it’ll be even better!
  • We're so happy that we went with this wild horse tour company! Since they're the original company offering tours in the area, they have exclusive access to places the other companies don't because they own the land. Our guide was not only exceptionally knowledgeable about the wild horses and their history on the island but also about the Island itself because he grew up there. He was also a fantastic driver. Didn't even come close to getting stuck even once, even driving through some marshy areas. Highly recommend!
  • It was off-season. We were warned to dress warm and it was well warranted. But the tour guide was amazing as was the trip. We obeyed the rules to stay clear of horses if we found some. For the first 90 minutes the horses were scarce. The tour guide stopped to ask a local if he knew where some might be as one was grazing near his home. The tour guide parked on the other side of the picnic area away from the horse and told us she would be just a few minutes and not to go near the horse.. Because I obeyed and asked the local to get a couple shots for me, he blessed me with a treasure..it was fulgarite. My husband loves "Sweet Home Alabama" and always wanted a piece. So by the horses hiding and my keeping a safe distance both my husband and I had reasons to smile.
