  • There is no admission charge. Exhibits focus on coastal North Carolina wild life. There are examples of deer and other animals native to the area. Located near currituck light house.

  • Great family fun, and lots of activities and history for the children. The crabbing and sound activities were enjoyed by our whole group. And our guides were excellent and had us participate in the activities in the historic park so that we could experience the spectacular views the area has to offer. They also had plenty of patience with our large group of 10!
  • Wowzer, A complete description of life on the Outter Banks in the past. From ducks to fish the highs and lows of past indulgence. May that be happening today?
  • Nice educational center with displays and video.
  • What a great find! Free experience on the water here in Corolla, NC. We've been here for years and never visited the state. Great wealth of information about the area and it's rich history. We will certainly be back. Great welcoming staff!
  • This place offers education about the wildlife in the area. The exhibits are excellent. They describe and explain about North Carolina , especially Outer Banks wildlife. They offer a great variety of group and school programs. Students can learn about the wildlife, which include fish, crab, frog, turtles, whales, dolphins, owls, and other birds. They also offer a program of Archery for Beginners, since archery is considered as a skill with roots in the country's shooting and hunting heritage that has evolved into a sport. You can learn how dissect a fish. You can learn about animal Olympics like, Turtle Hurdles, Whack-a-Fish. You can learn about Japanese Fish Printing used to be a way of keeping records of fish caught. Also learn about how the chain of supply from when the fish is caught to get to your dinner plate, and so on and so on. A very interesting and educative place.
