  • Nice little park in the heart of Coronado. Right on Orange Ave, the main street. The day we were there someone had a jumpy house. Great spot for a picnic.

  • Nice park near the downtown area. There is a large gazebo in the center that was hosting a family celebration as I walked through the park. It is kept very clean and there is enough room to support...

  • Great place to relax with a book or have a picnic with the family. Perfect for tossing the ball around or flying a kite. The kids playground is great for tots and older kids. Bathrooms available and open. During summer the park has lots of events.
  • What is not to love about Coronado? The entire peninsula is simply gorgeous! Speckles Park is centrally located, well kept, beautiful and has ample facilities. The gazebo accommodates some nice weekend events. Today, I was fortunate enough to attend the 100th Anniversary of the Coronado Flower Show (and Art Show). It was a perfect day and neatly organized.
  • Spreckels Park is Coronado. It seems as if the City evolves around the band shell here. There are often free concerts in the park (check City website for dates). There is a huge AND shaded play area for kids. This park has probably one of the best public restrooms of any City. There are tons of shade trees for a lounging around or enjoying a picnic.
  • A great park for having a picnic, spending some time reading on the lawn, or watching children frolic in the playground. During the summer their are free (donations collected) concerts in the gazebo and attendees bring tables, chairs, food, and wine to enjoy an evening amongst community. No dogs allowed. Strats 6-7:40. *Many people start saving spots at 3:30. Artists display artwork on the edge of the park on the weekends. Clean unisex bathrooms. Parking in the neighborhood, where you walk past beautiful homes & gardens. This day, we attended the largest tented flower show in the nation.
  • Nice quiet park with lots if benches and some picnic tables. There are plenty of trash cans so the grounds are pretty clean. There is a large playground for kids and a gazebo.
