  • A nice slice of history well preserved showing a railroad covered bridge from 1920's. One of several in the area!

  • it was a nice find for our 1st 'covered bridge' to encounter and able to walk/bike thru, and if you went thru - there's a nice wrought iron display of a 'train engine' perspective! the self-guided...

  • Not far off the trail head for the Row River trail. One of several covered bridges on or near the trail.

  • I absolutely LOVED this bridge for some reason. The surrounding area made the bridge that much more beautiful. Saw a gorgeous Blue Heron. Just memorizing. The town itself was quaint and I just wanted to jog all morning there! The river was swift flowing and the sounds were music to my ears and very soothing
  • There really isn't any parking but the bridge is cool and there is a neat little metal train out front
  • Very cool bridge. Worth the stop.
  • One of many covered bridges in the area. But I think this is one of the best. Lots of information to read and it is restored so beautifully.
  • This historic covered railroad bridge has been meticulously restored and has many unique and fun touches to notice. For example, keep your eye out for the train tracks embedded in the floor, the outline of a train against the north wall, and short fun facts about the bridge along the railings. On the east side of the bridge, there is a bench and a shelter area with interpretive signs about the bridge and the history of the area. Parking was a challenge as there was no dedicated parking lot, and the street was generally too narrow to park on. We parked at a pull-out up the street (on S River Rd) and walked to the railroad bridge. It looked like there might also be parking on Tyler Ave.
