  • Though it is closed and under renovation. I took supplies up for the project. The drive was beautiful the whole way up.
  • To obtain your park passes it’s a smaller building headed towards the direction of Garfield Trailhead right past the bathrooms. They have passport stamps, stickers, passport book extension packs, magnets, shirts and best of all no lines. The clerk was also informative.
  • You can get the park map.and the national park seal from here. There is a movie which is played frequently which describes the history of the park. It is always advised to visit the park center and get an idea about the hiking routes and car routes. Many roads are seasonal and at times not functional because of snow. So it's better to ensure the accessibility of the routes/hike path from here before going to the park.
  • This was a good surprise. They have a decent movie to detail about the formation of crater lake and a gift shop. This is around 2 miles away from the main visitor center and worth driving down and getting more of crater lake history.
  • I did not go into the visitors center, but this place is gorgeous. Only spent little time there. Very blue. I would love to return with more time.
