Toketee Falls is a waterfall in Douglas County, Oregon, United States, on the North Umpqua River at its confluence with the Clearwater River. It is located approximately 58 miles (93 km) east of Roseburg near Oregon Route 138.
Toketee (pronounced TOKE-uh-tee), is a Chinook Jargon word meaning "pretty" or "graceful". The falls was officially named by a United States Board on Geographic Names decision in 1916, over alternate names Ireland Falls and Toketie Falls.

  • You can only see the waterfall from the top of the deck You have to pass the fence and a climb down very steep heel if you want to see the view of the waterfall from the bottom.

  • Beautiful place, challenging walk. It could be slippery. You are advised to come here with someone fit.

  • Good signage from Hwy 138. When the road forks, go left. Another immediate left after you cross a bridge. VERY small parking area considering how popular this hike is. You do get a free car wash...

  • Nice trail it’s only 1/4 mile to the falls. It has a nice viewing deck there to see the falls. It’s accessible in the snow just make sure you bring hiking boots the trail gets slippery and wet in snow.
  • Where do I even start… such a beautiful waterfall. The hike is little .5 to the viewing platform… a little note… if you go and there’s more people think of others and move so everyone gets a good photo opportunity. I drove from California and I felt like someone people just don’t think of others… I wish they would do some type of stairs to go down so people have access to the bottom and so they don’t keep breaking thru the fencing…
  • Vasy trail that is less than 0.5mile (one way) and takes about half an hour. There are a few spots where you can get pretty close to the water. You get a beautiful view of the waterfall at the end. The trail is very well maintained and they built staircase in the areas where you have to go up and down in elevation.
  • Nice walk on the trail to see the falls. It was drizzling and we had 3 kiddos with us... And no one complained! Absolutely beautiful, would recommend the trip out to see!
  • Very beautiful waterfalls. The viewing platform gets crowded. Easy hike to get the the only viewing platform. If adventuresome the off trail hikes are great.
