Kentucky Artisan Distillery, Crestwood

If you like distilleries, you will LOVE this experience. The staff is friendly and will guide you through the workings of their distillery. Tours have a “behind the scenes” feel and the staff isn’t afraid to interact with the guest and answer any questions you may have. Oh, and Patty… she’s a real treasure. She took extra time to ensure we were having fun and even provided suggestions for other activities in the area. This is a must see! Be sure to say hi to Patty!

Really enjoyed this tour and tasting. There were just 4 of us and our guide, Laura. She made the history really live and was great with our silly questions. This was the first tour where we thoroughly enjoyed everything we tasted. Hadn’t tried Jeffersons before and it was delicious. Even the lowest tier was smooth and nuanced. Would highly recommend this tour and tasting.

Tour was short and sweet, but gave a lot of info! We were in and out in a hour. Tom was our tour guide and he was great! There was a bourbon tasting at the end. Though I didn’t partake, I heard the bourbon was good and strong. The tour price is cheaper than other distilleries because it’s not in the heart of downtown.

Great craft distillery, Bob gave a very informative tour, willing to answer all questions. Really enjoyed hearing the origin of the Jeffersons Ocean brand. Very friendly and accomodating staff, we got there a little late without a reservation for the 10 am tour and they allowed my father, son and me to join the tour. Thanks guys. Tasted 4 bourbons at the end, all great. Picked up a bottle of the Jeffersons small batch. Will be back when I'm in the area.

Can’t go through Kentucky without doing a bourbon tasting! This place was small but put together well. Got to taste, tour the distilling and bottling areas. Host was very knowledgeable and was willing to answer most of your questions. If you want intimate bourbon experience, this is the way to go.
