  • Stopped to use the restroom and went downstairs to where the theater is. Stopped to plug up our phones at the many tables near outlets. Was told to leave or we would have the police called!! Terrible!

  • Very clean visitor center with lots of info about CC and the surrounding area. Nice fenced area for your dog to roam off the parking lot. Great views from everywhere.

  • Such a wonderful Heritage/History/Museum Center. The views from the huge windows are spectacular, you can spend a couple hours exploring all three levels. So much to see and learn.I LOVE this place. My son brought me to visit 5 years ago. And most recently, I brought my husband and my 2 year old grandson. My grandson loves the dinosaur exhibit and especially loved the model train exhibit. This place is great for all ages.
  • Absolutely loved our first time visit! The views are amazing. The staff is friendly. I learned a great deal though the displays and artifacts. Be sure to bring cash for donkey food! You just have to cruise Cripple Creek until you find them.
  • I visit Cripple Creek every year to see the Aspens change, but this was my first visit to the Heritage Center. It was a fun visit! They have lots of neat and educational displays inside...from dinosaurs, to taxidermy animals, and info on the gold rush. The cold water fountains were a plus since I forgot my water. And they have bags of donkey feed available for donations as well. Several picnic tables outside with great views too!
  • At 3 kms up the center is well kept and full of information. The lady managing the center has been there for less than a year, but man does she know her stuff. Provided tons of interesting information about the gold rush on the area. The exhibit is exhaustive and extremely interesting. No dogs allowed...too bad for us.
  • 3 floors of museum, great photo opportunities, dog pen, clean rest rooms. Free.saw pictures often Indian chief Ouray and his wife aChapita. Recommend stopping here for local history and convenient rest stop.
