The Butte Theater, Cripple Creek

My husband and I went to watch Ice Fest Feud and I ended up getting called onstage. I didn't plan to be onstage, but it ended up being a lot of fun! The Butte is a historic theater full of history & charm. Make sure you take time to take in a show while you're in Cripple Creek! (And don't worry, most are plays and they won't call you up onstage 😊).

Hands down the best melodrama theater! All of their shows will surprise you...so go already! Simple to navigate, easy parking, seating is small and cozy, intermission for refreshments, laughter guaranteed! Try to get a play with an Olio!! Trust me!

The historic Butte theater is a great place to visit with lots of History. You can just imagine the miners watching a show laughing and cheering for the villains. I saw the show Young Frankenstein and that was Mel Brooks musical version of the movie. Very well done. The actors and dancers were superb. I laughed through the whole show.

We thoroughly enjoy attending plays at this theater. We love the old style theater and have been happily entertained with the many plays we have watched.

Bought tickets for the Ice Fest Feud. Had an awesome time. I thought it was great that they let you decide if you want to be a participant and they let children play. Very good time at a very cheap price!
