  • Beautiful campsites and nice place to visit. Nice area to bike and ride around. Did not do the water trails as it was too windy.

  • This park is a scenic gem and the highlight of many a Crisfield visit. Bike rentals and trails $5 an hour. Fishing and line crabbing right there. The Greenheads are record breaking though so unless...

  • My daughter (12) and I went alone, after the rest of party backed out. It was SO WORTH IT and I would do it again. We stayed in Cabin #2 (pet-friendly), which is a 2 bedroom + loft, full bathroom...

  • Beautiful well-maintained location. Nice large lots under huge pine trees. Wake up to birds chirping, and can sit outside to watch the boats go by. Assigned pet friendly campsites. Nice new clean showers. Store currently (early May) open only two days per week, but ice and firewood available during closed times through honor system. Bikes available to rent for $5/hr or $15/day, when store open. Neat observation tower to climb, along with a nice nature center.
  • I cannot say enough good things about this place. Lots of stuff to do, and a GREAT experience. We stayed in a mini cabin, it included a table and chairs and had air condition, and the chairs on the porch were perfect to see the view of the water. You can crab, walk on the docks, go to the little park, canoe and kayak, and there’s a museum open for children. A beautiful place for photos. I recommend Coleman’s 100% max bug spray. We used it and we got no bugs on us. The bathrooms are very clean, and it’s a nice quiet place. Staff is SUPER friendly and helpful. We asked a lady about the lost-and-found and she had no hesitation to go look for our item for us. My sister also left her necklace in the cabin and they were super nice to find it for her and ship it back to our home address. I brought my bike and my little sister brought her scooter and she had a blast. We liked to go to Chincoteague to the shops and took the cruise to Tangier Island (highly recommend!) Overall this was a WONDERFUL place to stay and we’ve gone there 3 years and never had any complaints.
  • Overall very nice campground. Nice lots with lots of flat space and a nice cooking setup and picnic table. Very clean bathroom and showers, meticulously maintained. Nice camp store. If you're from the north like me, Chesapeake bay in this area is pretty much a swamp, bring alot of bug spray and or citronella candles. Otherwise great trip. Kayaking out to a sandbar was really fun.
  • Nice park/campground. The park and restrooms are clean and well maintained. Electric hook-ups in loop B only. Water is available throughout the campsite loops, but not at each site. Most if not all the campsites are shaded. We were there the first week of April and bugs were not a problem but I can see how they would be in the warmer month's. Cellphone work but there is no internet service. This is a state owm campground its well managed and maintained but doesn't have the upper end amenity you get at most of the privately own campgrounds. Hope this is helpful and enjoy your stay.
  • I have to take one star for flies and sites being too close to each other. Maybe other months are better, but summertime is ripe with flies. Bug spray doesn't do much, especially for kamikaze ones that like crash onto your head. Camping sites, well, don't expect any privacy unless your neighbors decide not show up. Otherwise the park seems lovely, the sunsets are beautiful, and workers are nice except for the uptight lady at the registration desk.
