  • I arrived to be met by a staff member who wanted to leave early. Sadly she stated “I” decided to “close early…I have been bored for the last 2 hours and I’m leaving, but, if you’re a serious buyer and want a bottle, I’ll stay …” Um, no. I’m here during business hours and wanted a tasting and a good experience. I may have bought a bottle, IF I was greeted better and could taste the wines. Poor customer service and sad not to acknowledge a customer during business hours.
  • Last week we had a private tour with Gio, 2nd generation owner. It was the most informative of any tour I’ve been on. Believe me, I’ve been on many tours in California and Italy. Evie came to speak with us in the tasting room and gave us more info. We brought our own cheese and crackers for the tasting. They customized my tasting since I have allergies to red Tanins. It was a highlight of our vacation (7 women from NJ agreed!). Praying hurricane Henri doesn’t hit them. They are a month away or sooner for harvest of the Pinot noir grapes. Well done team!
  • We had our wedding celebration here in September. From the day we first met Evie we knew this was the pIace for us. Even though we looked at other places, we kept coming back to Borghese Vineyard. Between Evie and Tom, they were both so accommodating and helpful to meet our needs. They did everything to make sure things went smoothly and stress-free. The venue has a wonderful, charming, and rustic feel. Walking around the vineyard presents lots of photo opportunities. A bonus if you ever come to enjoy their great wines is you can bring your own food! We can't say enough good things about Borghese vineyard and staff!
  • Pre covid review: Bottom line: heavily awarded apparently. Wine is pretty good. Gluten line: wine is gluten free, crackers are not. Long line: took a while to get service. Could it be cause we were dressed in workout attire as we biked here, or because it was semi packed? I'm hoping the latter. Once we got service things went smooth. We tried their suggested sampling and found all of the wines to be well made. Nothing crazy outstanding for our palate, but enjoyable. Wouldn't really run back.
  • Came here one afternoon for a flight of wine and to buy some bottles. Their classic flight has two whites a rose and two reds. While overpriced at $30, it comes with pretzels that you don't have to purchase. I loved the Sauvignon Blanc and the Rose for the Bays! In the end bought bottles of those two and a couple of the Merlot Cab Sauvignons. The servers name is Mary and she make you feel quite welcomed and can explain the wines in detail. I would love to come back during the summer when music will be playing.
