To create world class Pinot Noir that is expressive of its place. Located in the Dundee Hills of Oregon.Plan your Archery Summit Winery visit and explore what else you can see and do in Dayton using our Dayton trip itinerary maker app.
Centuries of winemaking have proven that the best way to move grapes from bin to barrel is with the natural force of gravity.
This is particularly true for the delicate, easily damaged Pinot Noir grape. We knew from the start that the building at Archery Summit would be, despite cost, a gravity flow winery. Our winery integrates classic architecture and technically advanced viticulture. Built into the hillside of our estate vineyard, the winery has five floors, two above ground and three below. Grapes are received in small capacity bins, hand-sorted, and de-stemmed on the top floor then travel downward one floor at a time to our fermentation hall, aging caves, and bottling area, all without character damaging pumps.
With its Mediterranean exterior and subterranean caves, the Archery Summit winery, like our wine, is an original expression of old-world aesthetics and new-world savvy.

Hands down the nicest winery. Amazing staff, beautiful venue and views, but the most important- the wine was excellent. We are canceling our other memberships and joining their wine club!

My friend recommended that we taste at Archery Summit. We had reservations for four at 2:30. We arrived early and were seated at around 2:25 in the member’s lounge. We got water and visited. At 2:45, we not only still hadn’t received our first pour, but nobody even came to our table during that time. We stood up and walked out. On our way out, two employees said to have a great day (one in the member’s lounge, one in the hallway toward the entrance). When we got back to the entrance to leave, the host said to have a great day, even though she had just taken us back to the member’s lounge 25 minutes prior. I notified the host about what happened. She didn’t say much, and then a gentleman who was standing at the door addressed me (perhaps a manager of some sort). I told him what happened. His response was curious to say the least. He said, “I wondered if that was the case (in response to me telling him we weren’t ever served). That is our fault for poor scheduling, there were several groups who all came in together.” When we were in the member’s lounge, there was one group of 12 or so, and then maybe two other tables of two. That’s it. The gentleman never said, “Can I make this up to you?” “Here’s a free bottle of wine.” “Here’s a coupon for free tastings.” “We’d like you to come back.” Nothing. Just “Sorry, this was our fault.” Duh of course it was! We had made reservations many days earlier. We ended up driving down the road to De Ponte Cellars (one of our favorite wineries) where we got excellent service and where I purchased a lot of wine. The bottom line is Archery Summit not only missed out on my business, but I will unfortunately be recommending to my friends not to travel there.

03/16/19: 4.5 out of 5 - Archery Summit has wonderful Pinot Noirs. The tasting room is small, but surprisingly spacious outside seating with great views. The staff are very nice, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Definitely a great winery to try once for wonderful Pinot Noirs and to decide for yourself. Enjoy!

A good tasting but the wines are priced competitive to Napa. Great views and a decent experience but for the experienced wine drinker you may find the wines overpriced.

What a beautiful estate! We had a fantatic tour and wine tasting of the winery. I can't wait to go back!
-
By far the best wine tasting experience. The hosts/staff, ambiance, and wine were beyond 5 Stars!
