Whiskey Acres Distilling Co., DeKalb

Awesome visit to Whiskey Acres. The tour by Phoebe was excellent, so informative and very fun, I've had several of their bourbons over the past couple years including the BiB Bourbon, the Maple aged whiskey, the Blue Popcorn Bourbon and the glass corn bourbon but today was my first time visiting the distillery and adding their BiB Rye to my tastings. Why did I wait so long 😊

The people were nice, the drinks were great. The tour was fun and Jon was both hilarious and informative. It's certainly worth a visit! The rye was my favorite, and there wasn't anything I've tried that I disliked. That said, I haven't tried their vodka.

Attended the comedy show last night. Great way to spend my Wednesday night. All the comedians were funny but LeLe Mason was hilarious. Try the Sunshine and Flowers if you like vodka and lavender infused lemonade. Flights from a different visit(see picture) the maple bourbon was good

Went in for a Sunday for a Flight and some cocktails. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Drinks a little pricey for the size, but taste fantastic so it is worth it! Well worth stopping by if youre within the Chicagoland area.

What a nice place in the corn fields to gather with friends. You can even bring your own food and drinks and enjoy the beautiful outside picnic tables. We celebrated a birthday there and it was fantastic. We came with some extra chairs, and we also order some of their delicious cocktails and drinks like real lemonade, not for concentrate. We ordered in advance real Lobster rolls from the visiting food truck, they were delicious.
