  • Henry Mercer was one dedicated man who loved concrete. Tour Mercer Museum first, a mile away, then come here. Amazingly beautiful home and architectural masterpiece that still gives me the creeps...

  • Was a really good time. It was great to walk around and see a castle completely built out of concrete from 1908. It had a different decorated Christmas tree in each room. Each tree had a pickle on it that you had to find, fun little game to play while walking around. The library had a great collection of original books from the time period. The tile work was amazing, so much to see.
  • “Unique” is the best word to describe this place. I’ve never seen anything quite like it. Mercer did a fantastic job of collecting and installing the tiles from different eras - from Babylon to Medieval Spain and beyond. Guided tour provides great experience even though you will only visit like a dozen rooms out of 44. I would recommend purchasing tickets in advance or at least checking their schedule. Otherwise, you might be waiting for about an hour if you arrive right after another tour has started.
  • This place is gorgeous! The detail and uniqueness of this home is just incredible. I thought the price of $25 per person for a 30 minute walk through to see 12 trees was a bit steep but once you are there, inside, listening to the guides telling you the stories about the talent behind the building of this massive structure and each piece that was meticulously placed, truly worth every penny. The pictures do not do it justice. Next time we are in the area we will go back because it is easy to miss things when there is so much to look at!
  • Absolutely wonderful experience! My kids were so excited and we all spent the great time! Especially thanks to Jacob who guided us throughout this beautiful castle! We purchased tickets in advance. I Recommend 100% this place to visit
  • If you looking to visit festive attraction near Philadelphia this is the place to go! Castle is so unique in architectural style that lights up with Christmas trees in every room. Walking through the labyrinth of rooms you will find 12 beautiful Christmas trees that will definitely give you the feel of the merry and bright season.
