I came here by car on a Friday morning in late June 2022. They had a free parking lot and, at the time, had ample parking. I reserved my ticket online and it $10 for students and $15 for adults. From start to finish, the museum took about 40 minutes to complete. The interior looks pretty cool when you walk in and is pretty interesting if you find old farming tools and antiques interesting. I think the content is interesting to look at but is probably only worth $10 instead of $15 for an adult. I wouldn't recommend going out of your way for this place. If you're looking for someone to so in town, you should do a guided tour at the Fonthill Castle instead. The people at the museum is very nice though. I purchased my entry time slot for the wrong date but they still let me in.

definitely a fun experience, stayed there for about 2.5 hours and adult tickets were 15$ as of Feb 2023. so many exhibits and gorgeous architecture. some you can touch and most are behind glass. there is an interactive exhibit for the kids too! overall it's a great museum experience.

I loved it here. If you love history and old items I would highly recommend this museum. I especially enjoyed how items were grouped together by use and the signs that explained the items and how they were used. A point to consider, the main part that houses all the artifacts is not air conditioned, so I wouldn't recommend going on a very hot day if heat is an issue for you. They do have fans here and there that move the air around, but on a hot day it will be uncomfortable.

Super unique museum. Exterior is dreamy and interior is a treasure trove of 19th century “tools.” The collection is expansive and displayed in such a unique way. Each floor has new things to discover, and the view into the foyer is more interesting the higher you get. There are plenty of rooms and details to discover. I recommend going when you can catch golden hour through the windows- it’s truly magical!

This is a spend the day to see all the items in the museum place. We got the membership as it was more economical to visit the castle and museum. Plus we are def going to come back to see what we missed. The docent Gloria made our time in the museum that much more enjoyable. Be sure to say hi if you see her and ask questions.
