  • The old tile factory is still up and running for visitors to see the process of hand made tiles. It's quite interesting. The old building itself is a joy to see but getting to see the artisans...

  • I never went inside this build. Every time we get to this place it's late and it's close. But love to walk around. I love the architecture and details designed on the ceramics all over the build. Next time I'm bring my DSLR camera to have more joy and capture all the details.
  • A working pottery building using mostly the tools of the original owner. Some really beautiful detailed tiles and you can see how they are created from the clay through the pressing. Most of the tour is a self tour except for a 17 min. film. A very intricate building but very educational. Very warm as they only have fans. Gift shop on premises to buy an item but pricey.
  • I've driven past this place for years and finally on my 47th birthday I went with my cousin and my sister. It was an awesome experience. The place was chilly so dress appropriately. I did not! Lol but, the craftsmanship was amazing the architecture was whimsical the tiles were beautifully hand crafted. Great place and it was cheap! Can't wait to see the castle and the museum.
  • Such a wonderful venue! My company provided our photo booth for an event at the museum and it was a great experience. Twinkle Photo Booth hopes to return soon!
  • Beautiful piece of history, I am happy was saved. The staff is excellent and friendly, the tour was self guided (minor critique would be to have paper or digital offering explaining what each section is) and through this lovely old factory. It's nice to see how things were and to meet someone who works there now producing in a similar manner to the original methods. If you are into history or just like authentic places from a time forgotten this place should be on your list to visit. Btw when you visit say hello to the bat for me 😁
