    Take your hiking shoes, your water and a camera. Remember your hiking etiquette. Clean bathroom at trailhead but limited parking so get there early. Worth every minute for beautiful river waters...

    Some day hope to start the trail here and head to Denver, for now a short MTB ride was great. Durango has a lot to offer.

    We hiked segment 28 out of Durango on August 29. Stunning scenery and good, medium difficulty hike. Beware it is not possible to socially distance and most hikers are not wearing masks.
