Located on the North Fork of Long Island, Lavender by the Bay, a family owned farm has been growing the highest quality lavender for over 20 years. We offer seasonal fresh cut English and French lavender bunches, dried lavender, lavender plants, lavender sachets, body products and honey from our own beehives.Use our East Marion attractions planner to arrange your visit to Lavender By The Bay and other attractions in East Marion.
In 2002, we expanded our company by purchasing 17 acres of farmland in East Marion, New York. We have planted twenty varieties of lavender across 15 acres of farmland, yielding over 100,000 plants for cultivation. The lavender is typically in bloom mid/late June through mid-July, but is ultimately up to Mother Nature.
In order to preserve the beauty, form, and peaceful nature of the farm, there is a fee (12 years and older) to enter the fields while the flowers are in bloom. This fee goes towards the upkeep and maintenance of the plants, trails, and pavilion. The fee is $8 per person to enter the fields on weekends and national holidays, of which $1 will be donated to a local charity. During the week, the fee is reduced to $5 per person to encourage customers to enjoy the fields during less busy times.
When the lavender is in bloom and is being harvested we offer U-pick bunches (Mon-Thur 9AM-11:30 AM) and will gladly supply you with a basket and a sickle (or a pair of scissors for children). Please call to confirm upick is available before your visit.

They fields were relaxing and you could sit in these cute chairs in the middle of them and just watch the bees and soak up the smell. There are a ton of homemade products they sell, including soaps...

Even on a cloudy day, this field and store a wonderful place to visit! They have hand crafted lavender gifts and massive flower fields! The team is so friendly if you call or email to inquire about bloom times, you can tell they truly love the business! The town of Easy Marion has so many vineyards, restaurants, and seaside hotels to see. We rented a car in Manhattan using the Get around app and drove out there for the day. Highly recommend!

The Lavender Fields is gorgeous! It is really something everyone should go and do. My only suggestion is that there needs to be some sort of food or drink outside of the fields! There are no food or drinks allowed in the fields, I was so thirsty and hot and wished i had some lavender lemonade or even water!! There isn’t much to do but see the lavender but it smells amazing and i love it! Definitely a picture perfect spot

Unique place. 2.5 hours from New Nork. I have been here July 22nd and the girl at the office told me that 5-7 days left till lavender is gone till next year. I was lucky. Even on hot day and sun light I got great pictures. Field is huge. Lots of nice photo spots. Lovely honeybees. Lots of lavender colored chairs for pictures and lots of places to sit and relax around beautiful lavender. Love it.

Still lovely if you visit off season. However the time it blooms is limited in the summer. Be sure to check before driving out here! But if you do get the lavender infused cookies. Also hand soap and honey!

Came her a few months ago for my 21st birthday, it was beautiful. Rows and rows of lavender, so many honeybees buzzing around, and ample opportunities for some amazing pictures. Staff was friendly, helpful, and organized. There were also some great products for sale - soaps, sprays, lotions. Super fun!
