  • It was really nice to learn the history of the lighthouse in this space. It was a nice place to spend a little bit of time.

  • We were so lucky to plan our trip on a day the lighthouse was open for tours. Docents were very knowledgeable and helpful. You can really see the locals are quite interested in preserving the history....  more

  • If you are lucky enough to arrive on a day this lighthouse is open for tours, take the time to listen to the stories before climbing the 44 steps

  • A short walk from the parking lot is the Nauset Lighthouse. At the present time one is unable to enter the lighthouse, but you are able to walk up close to it. As we got closer we found the house where someone used to stay and observe the lighthouses to ensure they were functioning properly. Then my family and I went on another short walk to the Three Sisters Lighthouses. They look like three women in white dresses with black hats. They used to be near the beach, but due to erosion they were moved further inland in 1989. Although they are no longer functional it is great to walk through, and learn the history.
  • Mystery solved! This is the lighthouse on the bag of Cape Cod potato chips! The lighthouse is right by Nauset beach where there are restrooms. And the Three Sister lighthouses is very close by within walking distance. Parking was plentiful and free when I visited in mid October. There are free tours on certain days of the week/year for you to climb up into the lighthouse and learn about the history. If you could, definitely take the opportunity to do so. Learning about the history of the lighthouse was very intetesting. All workers are volunteers so donations are highly recommended. This was actually one of my favorite stops on the cape.
  • Very cool lighthouse, which is also the lighthouse on the Cape Cod chips bag. I really enjoyed this lighthouse, pretty location. Three Sister's lighthouse(s) was close by also. They were pretty small in comparison to their replacement. Nice they kept them around.
  • Beautiful lighthouse! We are so happy we stopped by, had no idea that this is the picture behind the Cape Cod chips! Great to learn the history of how it has been moved four times. A short quick walk from the beach!
  • This is a beautiful Lighthouse at our home away from home. It's a quick walk from the beach parking lot and once you get there they have a bench and it is just beautiful to sit there and here the sounds of The Cape!
