  • We loved this small campground. Each site has plenty of room - no rows of trailors. You are surrounded by nature instead! Beautiful large lake. Plenty of rangers patrolling the area. Great trails. Very quiet. Unfortunately, we did see a large political flag displayed.
  • Perfect place to camp for one night! Absolutely quiet and lovely locals.
  • It's a lovely state park and I enjoyed my time hiking the Bay Trail. Visiting this Carolina Bay lake gives you some nice views. It could use some work on the trail but they have to deal with flooding from rainstorms. Also, the Mountains-to-Sea Trail goes through part Jones Lake State Park.
  • Nice lake Park with a campground. Some of the campsites have full hookups but all the sites are very nice. Hiking trails, fishing pier, and canoeing available?. I think you can rent the canoes.
  • I did a one night camping trip with my GSP pup. This is a very nice park that is put together very well. The camp sites are spaced far enough from each other to not feel crowded, the bath houses and grounds are immaculate and the trails were well kept and nice to take hikes. Will definitely be back for another trip to kayak/fish the lake. Lots of amenities to enjoy!!
