Port Erie Bicentennial Tower, Erie

What a delightful gem in the heart of Erie!! Best part was that I was the only on the tower so it was magical spending almost 2 hours just soaking in the beautiful weather and scenery without having loads of people blocking the view. $6 for entry and free parking and majestic views of lake erie and downtown. Beautiful place, especially if you are a photographer this is a goldmine for stunning photos. A must see if you are in Erie. Definitely recommend. 😍

October 2022: We did not actually go up to the observation deck, but we enjoyed the free pier open to the public. Pros: * Beautiful view of the city and the lake. You can see parts of the peninsula and m a NY boats sailing by. * Free parking * Clean, well maintained area. No trash or debris on the ground. Cons: * Bring a jacket just in case. It can get windy along the lake making it feel quite frigid. Conclusion: if you are in Erie, then going to the Bayfront is a must. Doing so will clearly convey the reason why many people call Erie home.

Absolutely Gorgeous views of the lake and Erie. There's plenty of parking spots, walking areas, seating areas, museums, and eating options. I saw many fisherman and boat rentals or excursions. Great place to check out all year round and a definite Bright Spot for Erie!

Very cool walk along the bay. Lots of history with great views of the city. Came in October with no crowd which allowed us to casually walk the entire area. Free parking for 90 minutes by the bicentennial tower.
