Burdette Park is a recreational facility in Vanderburgh County, Indiana. It is the only municipal park in Vanderburgh County not operated by the City of Evansville. Burdette Park provides a recreational and educational environment consisting of approximately 170 acres of wooded hills in Southwestern Indiana. Burdette Park boasts a wide variety of year-round recreational opportunities, including fishing, hiking, picnicking, and camping.

    Quick thing: No, I did not go in January 2021 or 2020, it had no other options. Almost every year, my summer camp (about 20 people) goes there every other Tuesday. It's such a great place, always.....  more

    Our favorite pool! It’s clean and spacious. There is food, floating lounger rentals, and a mini shop if you forget or run out of poolside basics. The kids love the splash pad and the parents love the slides!

    Me and my babies drove over 10 hours it was more like 11 in a half. When we got there it was great easy to find the cabin that was rented for our family reunion. The Pool was closed the first day because of rain but the next day of the reunion all of the kids went to the Pool and had a blast. The cabins and park are clean and well kept I have always loved going to Burdette Park and I'm glad my babies got to enjoy it like I done growing up.

    This is an absolutely amazing park right outside the city! It has lots of things for everyone and if you're feeling down there are tons of ducks, geese and other wildlife to welcome you to the park!

    A great place to swim - the only place that let's u have a flotation device - u can rent a float or bring your own - they will inflate ur float for $1

    Burdette Park is beautiful! My wife and I got married in 1980 and rented a shelter house for our reception. The rest of the family has been doing the same ever since. Burdette Park is a well maintained place from one end to the other and we are glad to have it in our community and we highly recommend it!!!
