Fair Oaks Farms is an escape to the country with acres of great outdoor fun, food and learning where you can explore family farms and reconnect with nature, animals and our planet.

Fair Oaks Farms offers experiences that you couldn't imagine and you'll never forget!

We are not only committed to educating the public about modern farming efforts, but also to protecting the environment, caring for our animals and ensuring the highest quality products possible.

Fair Oaks Farms brings Reduce, Reuse, Recycle to a whole new light. Our entire facility runs on cow & pig manure. We transform our farms' waste into energy by way of our anaerobic digesters, we reduce our dependency upon natural gas and electricity during the milk and manufacturing process. In 2013, the use of CNG will reduce the amount of diesel that our milk tanker/trailers use by 2 million gallons; the amount used in 2011. Our barns and plants are also powered by this cutting edge "poo power".

Sustainability isn't just something we claim, it's how we live.

  • Had a nice afternoon, we went for lunch at the Farm house . Had a 45 minute wait which gave us time to walk around. There's a really beautiful yard and creek that runs behind the restaurant and they were set up for a wedding that day. It's a real cool place to have a wedding. The Market had apples and alot goodies, but nothing is cheap so you know. Our lunch was very good and the service was wonderful. I suggest the fried chicken it was amazing and the pizzas are really good. I have taken the tours and went through the other educational parts of the farm and it's very interesting and the kids all enjoy it. It's a nice weekend trip and easy to get to.
  • To be honest I've been coming here for years for the gas station. It's a common stop for me and my friends and now family. The ice cream is a nice change of pace. But the dog park is the real attraction for us on the road. It's quiet. Well outfitted. Never a problem.
  • What a great place to visit. My wife and I stopped by on our way back from a cross country drive. I have always wanted to go on a tour and I would highly recommend if you got a day you will definitely learn tons here and might even see a momma Cow give birth. While we were visiting we saw 2 births and one even had twins. It really is kid friendly and they will learn so much as well. The staff was very friendly and was always quick to answer questions. You can see they love their job!!
  • We stopped by on our way back from Lake Michigan. It is an amazing place. Definitely a place to go back to with kids! We didn’t pay the $22 entry fee, but quite a bit to see on your own. We stopped for a sundae at Cow’fe. The ice cream was amazing; a tad costly, but worth it! I recommend stopping!
  • Our adult kids loved it as well as our 3 year old granddaughter, who I thought might be too young as she had just had her birthday. We started with lunch in an igloo which was so delicious! For some odd reason our waitress disappeared which was a little frustrating because one person didn't get their veggies and then we had to go inside to get our bill so we could make our tour times. The tours were fun and informative. The waiting area between tour times had very interactive fun, educational things to do. Of course we ended the day with ice cream and the gift shop. Unfortunately we didn't have time to see the birthing building. All in all it was a wonderful day!! We would highly recommend this place to people of all ages!
