    This museum is so nice! Fun family events for the holidays, and full of history for an anytime visit! I took my 5 year old grandson there today and he loved it as did I! We will definitely plan to go....  more

    Fun excursion, especially for the littles who enjoy trains and vehicles. The wooden train sets, puzzles and model train inside the station were a huge hit with our group, and the caboose was fun to walk through and get an idea of an "office" in the train. Thank you to all the volunteers/staff who were friendly and welcoming to us as we enjoyed the museum spaces.

    Beautiful building housing an interesting railroad museum. Available to rent for parties or reunions up to about 40-45 guests. Has tables and chairs and a kitchen to prep and serve. Staff very friendly and responsive. I was there for a private party so there was no admission fee. There's a small fee to visit museum.

    Great place for a family outing. Enjoy some time inside learning all about trains with interactive displays for children. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the scenic setting outside to end your day together.

    Nice museum for Northern Virginia history. With a mixture of railroad, Civil War and transportation. A "N" scale layout in the caboose is a plus.
