  • Love this Market House ~ Part of Fayetteville history since 1832. Unfortunately a fence had been erected around it due to villains' trying to burn it down But you can still take priceless pics.

  • Open to the public. The Latin dancers from nextdoor at Volta Space have been using this space for classes and social dancing lately. Fun times.
  • This place in mentioned by former slave Sarah Louise Augustus in "My Folks Don't Want Me to Talk About Slavery" by Belinda Humerence. It took me a minute to find the location on the map, as I hadn't realized it was actually still standing. They should absolutely keep this piece of history up for the sake of telling the stories of the souls who went through the atrocities of its' time
  • Really nice historical spot located in the middle of downtown, at night it is quite a site to see with colorful lights shining on it for everyone to admire. There is even a museum on the 2nd floor to enjoy during certain times, come on by and check it out for yourself.
  • I had a friend visiting for the 4th of July holiday. He walked through downtown Fayetteville and visited the Market House.
  • Just happened to be passing through been a long time Fayetteville resident and always thought the market house was a very unique building right there in the middle of that traffic circle. I hate to see it be removed from its original place. I think it needs to be revamped into a museum of some type that's just my opinion
