  • This is a jewel of our nearly-perfect historical town. One should visit it and absorb some architectural history!

  • We toured the house on a slow Tues. and enjoyed it. Docent was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Unusual in that this is the only one of FLW's Usonian (middle class) houses with an addition also...

  • We visited another property owned by the City of Florence and they recommended Rosenbaum to us so we made our way there and we enjoyed the tour. The check in and gift shop is across the street, then one of the staff gives you an overview of this design and architect and some details of how the home came into existance. You walk across to the building and the tour guide gives you details about each area of the home and details of the designer. There are several people in the group but the guide was very informative and patient with all questions. Our guide knew Mrs. Rosenbaum personally and offered several interesting details about the family. Frank Lloyd Wright designed homes in several states and other countries, a neat tidbit of Florence history!
  • It was lovely. The architecture, of course, was amazing. Art as home. Tour guide knew his stuff. Got in free because there were workers there working on the roof, maintaining the house. Cooling systems were down for the tour. Highly recommend.
  • Wonderful! A short tour of the house but well worth the time. It's amazing how Wright made a home the was not only functional but also a beautiful part of the environment. Our tour guide was well versed in the history and made the tour a great learning experience. The small gift shop across the street is a great place to pick up a couple of Christmas gifts.
  • The only Frank Lloyd Wright house in Alabama. It is just as it was created and the staff is very knowledgeable. This was indeed a treat. The family who inhabited the house are so present that you feel they may return home at any moment. This is a must when visiting the area.
  • Y’all this place was something to see! Frank Lloyd Wright’s architectural style at the time this home was built was quite forward thinking. So detailed. Visit, you must!
