  • We were here for fishing tournaments. It was a bit hard to find the first day as the turn for it sneaks up on you. Great park once you get there.

  • This park hosted the National Championship and High School World Finals Fishing Tournament. It operated like a well oiled machine.

  • McFarland Park is beautiful! It's right on the Tennessee River across from gorgeous bluffs. At $25/night or $20/night for seniors (oh yeah), full hook ups and both pull through and back in sites, what's not to love. I believe it's a cash only park and it's first come first served, no reservations. The staff are super accommodating! I highly recommend, and if we weren't heading to FL, I'd like to stay much longer!
  • Great campground. Very pretty to watch river and all the boats go by. Bath house older but clean. And nice to have some shady spots
  • Great place to spend an afternoon. Right on the water. Tons of parking. Tons of beautiful trees. Bathrooms are pretty clean for a campground. If you’re looking for a place to spend the day, McFarland is a great place to come. Pictured are the view of the bridge, an event on the river, and during a snow day.
  • Can’t beat full hookups (sewer, water, 30/50 amp) for $25 (or $20 for seniors) right on the river. This was our first time to Florence and we will be back. There are no reservations, it’s a city park with first come first serve.
  • Very nice municipal park, however a few suggestions for improvement would include: - Grill/fire pits would be nice - Wi-Fi would be nice - Allowing advance reservations would be an improvement - now it’s just first come, first serve. Sometimes hard to contact by phone to see if spots are available.
