    This is a nice place to take kids. Its clean, grassy and the pond is well kept. Not much good fishing as I have NEVER seen anyone catch a fish there. But they say it has fish in it! lol Any ways...

    A beautiful park south of downtown COS. One observation I made while walking along the regional trail was the scent of the water. It’s a very distinct floral aroma, something that I found interesting. The scent followed the river. I passed plenty of dogs and bikers on the trail. Great park for families, group gatherings and those with dogs.

    The recent rains have made it beautiful and green. The regional trail runs along Fountain Creek which is flowing full and strong. Lots of wildlife if you are fortunate to see them.

    Fountain Creek Regional Park has great amenities and is conveniently located off highway 85/87 in Fountain, CO. Gorgeous views, nice pavilions with grills - great for group gatherings, clean bathrooms, a nice walking path around the ponds, lots of green space, sand volleyball courts, a dog park area, and a fun playground for kids of all ages. Feel like taking a hike? Just outside of the park area you will find trails that connect along Fountain creek. Such a gem to have available. Hike along the creek to Fountain Creek Nature Center.

    Had a very lovely hike here. Tons of nature and opportunities for pictures! I suggest you visit this trail if you're looking for a day adventure.

    Great hiking trail through the park with many opportunities to watch wildlife. If you have a dog, take it along, you will both enjoy it.
