Point Betsie Lighthouse, Frankfort

Absolutely gorgeous! This is one of the prettier lighthouses in Michigan! We spent quite awhile here just exploring, touring the lighthouse and browsing in the gift shop! Put this lighthouse on your bucket list…you won’t be disappointed!!!

Beautiful Lakeshore lighthouse and property. Nice gift shop and visitor center, too! Scenic views of the lake, it's a must stop. We were on motorcycles. Lots of sand on the road. Dead end and turning around was a little challenging.

I love coming here. They've redone a lot of it (painting and building the gift shop) from when I was a kid. And you can even rent an apartment in the lighthouse! The beach is a beautiful place to watch sunsets and the tour is fun to be able to go up into the light tower. Great history.

I been to a lot of lighthouses this summer all thru our beautiful state and I have to say that this one here is by far now my favorite. The view here is spectacular and the beach it's on made it my favorite spot of the summer. The lighthouse itself is very well maintained and there is quite a bit of stuff to see and you can buy tickets to enter the lighthouse so you could go to the top and get that great view of the surrounding area. If your in the area this is a must! Parking is a bit of an issue due to you having to park on the road, but the walk isn't too bad.

Beautiful lighthouse with a nice little beach. Not too crowded and very peaceful. Easy pathway to walk and not too far from here you park.
