Fowler's Clay Works, Gatlinburg

Did a class today with my wife. When she first told me she booked us a class I was thinking I was going to do this just to please her. WOW was I surprised!! I had such a good time making a bowl. The instructor we had Cathrine was great, very informative and she made the class enjoyable. After the class we got to talk with the owner Mike and I liked seeing the passion he has in what he is doing. Not making this up. I really enjoyed doing this and will be back to do it again in the near future.

Had such a wonderful time with my boyfriend. This was our first time here and a great experience. Katherine was such an awesome Instructor and was very patient with our class. I would recommend taking the class. We made a pot this time but would love to come back for the other class they offer.

My husband and I are on our honeymoon and we decided to take the make a pot class. It was a wonderful experience. The instructor was awesome and now we will have our own handmade pottery to remember this special time spent here.

Had a wonderful time at the pottery class! Kay was fantastic, especially with a first timer like me. She let us mess up and practice first, and they turned out beautifully. We got to pick out our colors after and they will be shipped to us when ready. My daughter and I had such a great experience I would highly recommend doing it. Perfect for all ages.

I can't say enough positive things about this place! All of the pottery is beautiful, the shoppe owners are super nice, they have great gifts AND you have to do a pottery class with Katherine! Such a corny story but my husband and I exchange traditional wedding gifts--which for the 8th year happens to be pottery. We were on spring break with our boys for our anniversary this year but I knew I wanted to do something special. I thought what better way than to make our own pottery to enjoy. I didn't read any reviews and hoped for the best! Our first pottery class experience was AMAZING!!! Katherine is the BEST! She is so personable and walks you through every step until your happy with your piece! My boys (16 and 14) even ranked this experience one of the funnest this we did on vacation! I cant wait to get our mugs back and use them for our morning coffee!! Thank you Fowler's Clay Works, Mike and Katherine!
