The Spa at The Lakehouse Inn, Geneva on the Lake

Paul was fantastic! I had the deep tissue massage and this comment is coming from my vast massage experience. I had a massage back in 2019 which is why I came back. The new updated waiting area gift shop was very welcoming and had some really cool thing to buy. Everyone was super friendly too! I will definitely come back again. Buy their robe, it’s fantastic, best robe I’ve ever worn.

Would not recommend this place to friends or family. Massage therapists did not come off as professionals and the massages received were weird. There was no explanation on the website of the “relaxation” vs the “deep tissue” and then neither therapist explained the process or did anything to make us feel comfortable upon arrival. I got the relaxation massage which consisted of MAYBE 5-7 minutes out of 60 focused on my back. It was just all around weird and we both just wanted it to be over - NOT the feeling you want to have during a massage! At the end, the woman checking us out said “I just went ahead and added the 20% gratuity to your services” which I found to be a little odd. I have never not tipped 20% (or more) but being told vs asked did not sit well with me. Typically, I prefer to be asked about my experience and then asked what I would like to tip. Super awkward all around and a total waste of money. Don’t even get me started on the experience beforehand on their patio trying to get wine and a snack. This place all around lacks communication amongst their team and with their guests.

If I could give 6 stars I would! I took my 21year old daughter to The Spa at the Lakehouse Inn (mother/daughter trip) and we both enjoyed the most relaxing facials. Everything about the Spa was soothing, the products used made my skin feel wonderful, everyone I encountered working there where all so accommodating and friendly. Whenever I return to the area, I will definitely make a point to make a return visit!

My husband and I went to Geneva on the Lake for the first time last weekend. We both had massages appointments at the Lakehouse. The 60 minute relaxation massage truly was the best I and my husband had ever had. Next time we visit the Lake, spa treatments at the Lakehouse Inn will be the first thing we do!

Very relaxing atmosphere, exceptionally clean as well. Everything was professional. I had the Himalayan Salt Massage and would definitely do it again! I did have some trouble getting through to the office to schedule, but once I did everyone was professional and accommodating. Thanks Jennifer and staff.
