    We visited and went out on the boat. The lake is beautiful and all the surrounding scenery is as well. We found it to be very peaceful. The lake is good for recreation, fishing, and just relaxing. I.....  more

    Great lake for fishing and water sports. Make sure you get a map because Oconee has lots of flooded timber just below the water level. Tons of wildlife to see!

    Love it, Go to Jumping Rock and the rope swing. Beautiful homes and nice scenery to look at.Take the boat or drive to Georgia Butts for some good BBQ and cold beer. The Ritz is amazing, especially at Christmas. They have a tree lighting ice skating along with great food at all the restaurants. This place is great year round

    This is a gorgeous place. There’s plenty to do on the lake. Boating, water skiing, wakeboarding, kayaking, fishing, and more. The Ritz-Carlton on the lake has much more to enjoy. There are excellent restaurant options for every occasion. This is one of my favorite places in Georgia. I recommend visiting, you’ll want to live there!
