The Great Escape Room, Grand Rapids

We decided to do something different this year to celebrate my son’s 14th birthday. So, this was our first time in an escape room, and it was so fun! It really made us put our thinking caps on and work together. We didn’t know quite what to expect once we were on our own in there, but they had cameras that allowed two-way communication in case we needed anything (like a hint or two, time remaining, etc). There were some very challenging tasks we had to solve, but it was so fun solving the mystery. We will definitely be back for more!

I went with four other pharmacy students and we all had an amazing time; such a needed stress relief from school. We were in the Final Seance room and we were able to escape in 42 minutes. I have done two other escape rooms and this was by far the best escape room I have been to. The employees were knowledgeable and you can tell that they are passionate about the escape rooms. Inside the room, there were several 'events' that occurred that were surprising and I have no idea how the company got the 'event's to work. I am using 'event's because I do not want to give any details away. I would love to go again and try out a different room.

This is such a fun experience to do with your family and friends. My family and I did the infirmary, we got out in 50 minutes. It was so cool to see all the things they put into these rooms. I would definitely recommend!

We had a blast! We did the Harry Houdini escape room. It is called Escape Artist: The Final Seance. It was very entertaining and had a lot of locks involved. We barely "escaped" but we did it within the given time. It was listed as the hardest one on their percentage board of success, 29%! We would definitely do it again.

We had a girl's night out and we went to the Great Escape Room. What a blast! We are making this a monthly girl's night out here. Going to each of their Escape rooms. Highly recommend this place for a fun time out. The staff was absolutely fantastic and made our night there so much fun! They're the best! Can't wait to go back again! We are coming back this weekend! 😃
