  • I really enjoyed this museum. It very thoroughly and honestly reviews the history of the state and city. Some of the exhibits are hard to read and review, given the history of our country, but, in my opinion, it's important to know history's reality so we don't repeat it and can see the progress made. Much appreciation to the people that make places like this possible and preserve the artifacts and buildings. Very educational.
  • The hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday 2 pm to 5 pm. Closed on Mondays, for anybody who wants to know. The Admission is free, they have guided tours of the cemetery and that is the only way you can see the cemetery, they do accept donations and they have really changed the displays up. Now they have them pretty much by years and decades, We had a really good time visiting and would definitely recommend people stop and and see Greensboro's history.
  • Had a day off from work and decided to go to the history museum and get out of the heat. I really enjoyed my time, and I was surprised how large the museum is! Definitely recommend to anyone who wants to learn about the history of the city and people in history connected to it.
  • The museum is free of charge and right downtown Greensboro. Is a nice place to explore with younger and older kids. It has a lot of interesting information about the history of Greensboro and the second floor is more hands on for kids and kids alike. Lovely visit. The ladies working at the museum were so nice and friendly.
  • Great great museum! So glad we stopped in. Very well laid out and very informative. We found parking across the street. Staff was helpful. My funny moment was finding out the Vicks VaporRub was started in Greensboro. My parents swore by the benefits of this stuff 😂
